Project Tutorial: Creating a Countdown
This project is to allow students to learn the basics of editing using Final Cut Pro.
This project is to allow students to learn the basics of editing using Final Cut Pro.
- Each group will import ten still images into Final Cut Pro from the Digital Image folder within GPTV Storage drive.
- Each shot is to be trimmed to one second.
- Included will be a text graphic representing the number in the countdown on each shot from 10 to 1.
- Music will be added to all ten shots.

- Each group will import the Detroit Lions Highlight Video into the FC Pro.
- Under File, select NEW>New Project
- Name the project. Example: Detroit Lions Pump Up
- Select the parts that you would like included on your timeline, once selected drag the clip on your timeline.
- Included graphics as need to pump up your audience
- Music will be added to the sequence to pull together your video
- Length: 60 Seconds
